Interactions
Zinc may reduce the absorption and/or activity of certain antibiotics, including ciproloxacin, doxycycline and tetracyclines.
Zinc should not be taken within two hours of these drugs.

Zinc is an essential micromineral, found in all organs, tissues and body fluids. It is primarily an intracellular mineral and is required for the activity of several hundred enzyme systems of the human body.
Zinc Amino Acid Chelate is an easily absorbed form of zinc, suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Low Zinc is particularly common in children, adolescents, the elderly, pregnant and lactating women and also vegetarians.

Signs of low Zinc include white spots on the nails, poor resistance to infection, slow wound healing, dull senses (hearing sight, smell, taste).
